So this morning will envolve my 1st bit of running in 2 weeks. After the calf strain I have spent the last 2 weeks focusing on the bike and swim. So my usual warm up of 15 minutes on the turbo followed by a steady 800m run. Good start, no sign of tightness so already an improvement from 2 weeks ago. My session planned is a 15 mile bike with a steady 1 mile run. Avg 23mph on the bike and the 1 mile run felt fine. A little tightening but no pain felt as before. Got back, stretched, iced and rested. Next run session planned is Wednesday evening, a steady 3 mile run. Be good to catch up with the Run Swindon girls.
