Just finished my  toasted jam bagel. I love back off weeks. Yesterday I was in the pool for 20 x 50m Avg 15 strokes per length @ 25 seconds per length.

Nice easy session followed by a meeting with Jack Uzzi.

Today a bit of a lay in, up at 6, out on the bike by 6.30 for a light 30 minute spin.

Out tonight with the Run swindon girls. Hope they are feeling fit.

They started their training for the Swindon half last week practicing the first 3.5 miles of the course. Out n back total of 7 miles.

Tonight, got to get them legs strong for Swindon Half so we will be taking in some hills girls.

Hi K,
don't worry we have plenty of time to get you back on target.
As long as we can get you up to 10 miles 2 weeks before then you will be fine. Stay positive.

Yeh... Slow and steady wins the race. I'm just worried that having time off of running now is going to stop me being able to do the Swindon half. Feeling a bit deflated today...

Hi K,try to be patient. You have been on and off for a while carrying alot of tight limbs around with you. Once you have seen Kev again you will be able to ease back into it and before you know it fireing on all cylinders again. Remember the "Hare and the Tortoise"

I want to join in with the hill training tonight!! I'm so fed up not being able to run. Hopefully i'll be back next week though. My leg feels much better today. Hopefully Friday Kev will give me the go ahead to begin training again. FINGERS CROSSED!
