Step into Minimalism ......

Choosing the right shoe for you

Saucony have watched, learned and tested. Here's what they think:

Minimalism isn't just an end, it's a means. Instead of all or nothing, it's something to explore and intergrate into your training. What they found, is that there are a range of runners with different body types and training needs trying to work with a single solution. Naturally this seemed wrong, So they devised a range of minimal shoes for a variety of feet and training approaches.

Saucony Minimalism 4The Miarge - Heel to toe ratio 4mm. A great way to step into minimal. the lightweight sole features ground plugs that deliver a bit more of an air ride and a little less ground feel, than typically found in a minimal shoe. The Mirage provides a touch of guidance for the neutral to slight pronator.

Saucony Minimalism 3The Kinvara - Designed to give you exactly what you need and only when you need it. The sole is an ultra-lightweight durable foam and the grooves cut into the sole are flat instead of curved. Providing a little more stability than the Hattori, which can really matter towards the end of your run.

Saucony Minimalism 2

The Hattori - Saucony's most minimal and lightweight shoe ever, the Hattori literally feels like an extension of your foot. Unlike other minimal shoes, that hattori's mitten-like toe box gives your toes room to arch, grip and push off. The sculpted foam of the sole also includes strategically placed impact cushioning and delivers a slight piston effect without ever compromising natural motion.
